Create an event

Post a training, a movie night or anything else with its own sign-up buttons and attendee list.

Unit Leader or Admin Discord — /event-create, or the 📅 Events tab

How to do it

  1. In Discord: /event-create title:<name> start_time:25/06/2025 19:00.
  2. Add what you need: description, duration, location, channel, mention, reminder, image_url.
  3. In the browser: 📅 Events → New event, which is the same fields as a form.
  4. The message goes up with the sign-up buttons on it and a live attendee list.

Worth knowing

  • A start time in the past is refused.
  • duration is what lets the event close itself out afterwards — without it the message keeps its buttons indefinitely.
  • Events are entirely separate from operations and ORBAT slots. Nothing here touches a roster.
