Rename, copy or delete an ORBAT
Keep a library of rosters: give one a clearer name, copy it as the basis for the next one, or throw it away.
How to do it
- Rename: open the ORBAT and use the Name and description form under the editor. The description is only ever shown in the list, to tell two similar rosters apart.
- Duplicate: press Duplicate on the ORBAT. You get a copy of the squads, slots and nets — and none of the bookings.
- Delete: press Delete and confirm.
Worth knowing
- Duplicating is the way to build next week’s roster from this week’s without touching the one an operation is running on.
- An ORBAT backing the active operation cannot be deleted — the delete would take tonight’s whole board with it. Finish or replace the operation first.
- Deleting an ORBAT that ran an old operation is allowed, and releases those bookings in the same move rather than leaving records pointing at slots that no longer exist.
