Put somebody on a slot directly
Book a member onto a slot without them asking and without an approval step.
How to do it
- In Discord:
/assign-slot @member, then pick the squad and the slot. - In the browser: the Assign somebody panel at the bottom of Slot Approvals. Type a Discord ID, a mention or a name.
- The member is DMed that they now hold it.
Worth knowing
- This is stricter than approving: you need a unit of your own and the member must share it. Choosing who goes on the roster is not the same act as answering somebody who asked.
- Members are searched rather than listed, because the bot does not read your member list. More than one match is reported with IDs rather than guessed at.
- It is refused if the member already holds a slot — clear the old one first.
