Run the operation on an ORBAT
Use a roster held here instead of a spreadsheet — the default choice, and the simpler one.
How to do it
- Build the ORBAT first (see Build an ORBAT).
- Run
/setup-slots orbat:<name>— the name autocompletes — or pick it from the dropdown on the Operation page. - Everything else behaves identically: requests, approvals, the board, assigning and clearing.
Worth knowing
- No Google account, no credentials and no network call is involved, so nothing about the evening depends on a third party being up.
- The approved request is the booking. There is no second copy to fall out of step with the board.
- The board additionally shows each squad’s unit and radio channel and the shared nets, which a sheet has nowhere to put.
